I want to tell the stories of people who don’t have the opportunity to tell them themselves.

For the past four years, I have called New York City home. Before then, I worked as a news reporter for the Swedish regional newspaper Upsala Nya Tidning. There, I covered the first winter of the Covid-19 pandemic, the impact of climate change, and organized crime.

I hold a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from Long Island University and a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication Studies & Journalism from Uppsala University.

I have also worked as an assistant producer for Talkbox Productions, a podcast production company with a global audience. During my two years with Talkbox, I was part of producing several award-winning podcasts, including Stories of Impact and The Green Dream with Dana Thomas.

In March 2025, I received a second-place award for environmental reporting from the New York Press Association, for my story, “Facing a future shaped by climate change, Brooklyn prepares for hotter summers and more intense storms,” published in Brooklyn Paper. My story, “The attack of the Chinese mitten crabs,” received an honorable mention in the National Press Association’s 2025 Better Newspaper Contest.
